Pan Macmillan gained a ‘highly-commended’ for the launch of Alan Sugars’
The Way I See It in the 'Best integrated digital marketing campaign' category at the FutureBook Awards.
Philip Jones, deputy editor of
The Bookseller and co-founder of FutureBook, said this year's entries represented a step-change over the past year.
Becky Ikin, Marketing Director at Pan Macmillan, said,
“
We were delighted to be recognised by the Futurebook awards. We fully support the initiative to promote innovation and learning within the industry and it was great to see such fantastic campaigns on the shortlist. Devising a ‘first’ is always challenging and labour intensive so it’s great to have all that hard work deliver. We feel this campaign really does point to a new model for virtual signing and global launches which we’ll be looking to replicate in the future.”
The awards were presented at the end of the FutureBook Conference 2011.
