Artichoke Hearts by Sita Brahmachari and Twilight Robbery by Frances Hardinge have both been nominated for the The CILIP Carnegie Medal 2012.
The selection process is organised by the Youth Libraries Group (YLG), one of CILIP's Special Interest Groups, which itself has over 3000 members. 12 children's librarians - members of the YLG - form the panel of judges. Shortlisting will take place in January 2012 and shortlists will be announced publicly on Tuesday 27 March. The winners will be announced on Thursday 14th June 2012.
Missing Mummy by Rebecca Cobb has been nominated for The CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal 2012.
