Tor novel Reviver to be made into a film

Tor UK is thrilled to announce that Reviver, the first novel in a three books series by debut author Seth Patrick, has had the option pre-empted by Legendary Pictures, the company behind such blockbusters as Dark Knight Rises, Inception and Watchmen. Brendan Deneen will produce for Macmillan Films and the deal was done by Sylvie Rabineau at RWSG Agency on behalf of Luigi Bonomi.
Tor novel Reviver to be made into a film
Reviver, which Tor publish in June 2013, focuses on a small group of people who have the talent of pulling the recently deceased back into their bodies for a short space of time. The lead character, Jonah Millar, works for the Forensic Revival Service, using his gift to bring back victims to implicate their killers. It's a terrifically fast-paced supernatural thriller.

Seth Patrick was born in Northern Ireland. An Oxford mathematics graduate, he works as a computer game developer at Sega. He lives in England with his wife and two young children. Reviver is his first novel.
