The Chronicle of the Fallers series, made up of The Abyss Beyond Dreams and Night Without Stars sees a return to the Commonwealth universe which was first created in Pandora's Star. You could say that this new series is a sequel to Judas Unchained and a prequel to The Dreaming Void. We thought that if we’re going to revisit Hamilton’s sprawling creation, we may as well revisit the Void trilogy.

Each week I’m going to be hosting a read along covering the events in the trilogy. It would be great to have some of you read with me, but you might just be here to refresh your mind on the myriad of details this master puts into his work. This may be the first time you’re reading Hamilton’s work, in which case we’re here to hold your hand and guide you. Maybe you’ve read everything the man has written, in which case I’ll need you to keep me in check if I get my highers mixed up with my advancers.

We’re going to start with the opening 224 pages of The Dreaming Void which should find us all up to the chapter titled, Inigio’s Third Dream. Remember to follow the links to find the continuation of the re-read, so we can discuss the initial breadcrumbs that will lead us into the woods together.
