About Carmen Bugan

Carmen Bugan is the author of Crossing the Carpathians, a collection of poetry. Having fled Romania as a teenager, she was educated at the University of Michigan and Balliol College, Oxford, where she obtained a doctorate in English literature. She lives near Geneva with her husband and two young children.
