A quiet celebration!
I’m stunned but so thrilled and grateful to the Australian Book Industry Awards for inducting me into the ABIA Hall of Fame with the Lloyd O’Neil Award for service to the Australian book industry.
It will be awarded to me by old friend Tom Keneally at the gala dinner at NSW Art Gallery on 25 May (my late Uncle Jim Revitt’s birthday. He was such a mentor).
I had to sit down by the fire with Mina and Biddi (and Boris) to get over the shock!
