Aaaah, this was my little living room writing area at the house I lived in when I got my literary agent! I've moved houses a fair few times since then and now I've got a new space in which to colour code my bookshelves. Hoping to have bookcases installed all the way up to the ceiling and one of those ladders the slide across the bookcases! Totally badass, right?

My favourite holiday destination was the first time I went abroad. I was 13 and I went to Ibiza with my Mum Chris, Dad Dave, big sister Net, little sister Nic and little brother Tony. I had never been in the sea before. Swimming in the ocean, the sun shining so hard that I could barely open my eyes is one of my favourite memories ever.

This review from the On My Bookshelf blog made me cry with happiness.
When I write a book I hope and try my best to create something that a reader is going to sink right into, fall in love with, laugh and cry about, feel seen in, get a bit crazy over. And when a reader tells you that they've done all of those things it is the BEST FEELING. Never hold back from telling an author if you've enjoyed their book. After spending months with my head inside this bonkers story, to know that there are others who love it like I do is so incredible.
