Five Thoughts that niggle while watching THE WALKING DEAD.
1. Knife blades never get dull.
Huh. My razor is useless after a few stubble sessions.
2. Walkers are usually aged between 20 to 40.
Ever hear of the Baby Boomers?
3. Most walkers appear to be 75% intact.
Hmm. Thought those walkers were ravenous.
4. Every walker is wearing clothing.
There would and should be naked walkers.
5. Nobody scales a tree for some quality sleep.
Clearly, no one read The Hunger Games.

The Mystwalker series in AUDIO! - one year ago
When I’m writing a difficult scene with a lot of back and forth dialogue, I’m talking out loud. I’m whoever I need to be–Hedi, Trowbridge, Lexi, or Cordelia. I’m all the voices. I keep Atty and Merles vastly entertained. Which is a nice segway to this nugget of news: The Mystwalker Series is coming out […]
Whoah, I’m a bundle. - one year ago
When I started writing THE TROUBLE WITH FATE, my only goal was to finish the book because up to that point, the longest thing I had written was a fifteen page short story. Which, come to think of it, can’t really be called a short story because it doesn’t have a beginning, a middle and an end. […]
How publishing works–about Bloggers and you. - one year ago
Do you know how the publishing world works? When I was unpublished, I thought it was hard work, commitment, fearlessness, and people telling you that you needed to revise the crap out of your work. Then I got the book contract, and I thought it was about more hard work, greater commitment, bolstering up your […]
It’s here! It’s here! DESTINY’s release day!!! - one year ago
Okay, I’m not cool. You go that, right? I can mimic being cool.. But it is all a front. When I anticipate a release date… I am not cool. It’s more than just spectre of being reviewed. Because that’s usually a mixed bag. Some of the reviews can make you damn well GIDDY. Those reviews […]
The Danger of Destiny excerpt! - one year ago
Here it is: a long excerpt from my upcoming release, The Danger of Destiny. I got so much satisfaction writing Hedi’s story to its completion! Look for DESTINY in the stores come March 3rd! Legs like lead. Each ragged breath dragon fire scorching my windpipe. Trowbridge’s fist a bruising manacle, hauling me up every time […]
