Lulu Taylor moved around the world as a child before her family settled in the Oxfordshire countryside. She studied English at Oxford University and had a successful career in publishing before she became a writer. Her first novel, Heiresses, was published in 2007 and nominated for the RNA Readers Choice award. It was followed by Midnight Girls, Beautiful Creatures and Outrageous Fortune, all set against the backdrop of glamorous high society. She is married and lives in London.
Lulu Taylor's new novel, The Winter Children, is about a woman who discovers that her husband is capable of keeping a secret with the potential to destroy their relationship. We speak to Lulu about the inspiration behind her novel.

My lovely publishers have sent me a bottle of fizz to mark The Snow Rose being in the top ten for another week. I'm absolutely delighted. But as it's the Books of the Year time, I won't see it in print...! Never mind, it doesn't take away the thrill. Thank you to all at Pan Mac who made it possible.
The Snow Rose is out! So exciting to see it in the shops. Let me know if you spot it... x
