If you're in London on Wed 22 Feb, I'm interviewing Rachel Cusk for a Goldsmiths Prize event. She is one of my favourite writers - witty, dark, an intellect of steel - and her novels Outline and Transit are just spectacular - and v weird. Tickets are free!

If you're in San Sebastian this Thursday... so am I! Head down to the Central Library this Thursday at noon for a bilingual presentation on what the Hemingway(s) got up to in the Basque Country. Naturally I'll be doing most of it in Basque with some smatterings of English.
Anyone else at Wilderness this weekend? I'm talking this afternoon at 3.30 in the literary tent. Swing by if you are!
