Tom Percival grew up in a remote and beautiful part of South Shropshire. On reflection this seemed rather more remote than beautiful, owing to the fact that he lived in a small caravan without electricity, mains water or any sensible form of heating. He thinks that he's probably one of the few people in his peer group to have learned to read by gas lamp. "
"An established picture-book author and illustrator, his books for younger readers include A Home for Mr Tipps and Jack's Amazing Shadow. Tom has made his first foray into the world of writing chapter books with the Little Legends series for Macmillan Children's Books, beginning with The Spell Thief.

@Alex_T_Smith I lost my son on a busy street the other day and had a jolt of pure adrenaline worry. He was sitting on my shoulders.

@Alexmilway Cool! I'm also glad you didn't say LEGO's. I'm sure that's going to creep into common parlance soon - I've heard it said aloud!
@_JimField Can you make the perspective an extreme close up on one characters eye?

If you're near Stroud on 19th November, you could do worse with your time than popping along to this. Like perhaps trying to count how many corners there are in your house. THAT would definitely be a worse way to spend your time...
