Rijksmuseum tickets: an excuse to go to Amsterdam in 2015

15 December 2014

If you're wondering where you're going to go next year, then we might just have the answer. We can't offer flights, but we have got two pairs of tickets to Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum to give away. It's home to, among  many other wonderful exhibits, Petronella Oortman's doll's house, which was the inspiration for The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton.

To be in with a chance of winning the tickets, simply fill in the form below. The competition closes at midday on Thursday, 18 December. You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over to enter; you can read the full terms and conditions here. Please note that we can't cover any costs incurred in visiting or travelling to the museum.

The competition has now closed, thank you to everyone who entered.

In the novel, eighteen-year-old Nella is given a miniature house by her new, elusive husband, Johannes Brandt. It's an exact replica of their house on Amsterdam's Herengracht canal, and when Nella asks a miniaturist to create furniture and people to fill it, what she receives are exact replicas of the house's inhabitants...
