Until recently Picador have published all but one of Graham Swift's novels, now we have the complete works.
The Light of Day, recently acquired from Penguin, will be published alongside Graham's new novel, Wish You Were Here, on 3 June. Originally released in 2003, it was the follow up to Graham's Booker Prize-Winning novel, Last Orders.
In case you missed it the first time around, it's a hauntingly tense yet tender story about discovering the hidden forces inside all of us and the power of such discovery to change everything.
It begins on a cold but dazzling November morning when George prepares to visit Sarah, a prisoner and the woman he loves. As he goes about the business of the day he relives the catastrophic events of exactly two years ago that have both bound them together and kept them apart.
