Stuart Evers, author of the prize-winning short story collection Ten Stories About Smoking and the novel If This Is Home, has written a new collection entitled Your Father Sends His Love.

Stuart's editor, Kate Harvey, said: 'Stuart is one of the UK’s best short story writers at a time of renewed excitement for the form. His debut collection (Ten Stories About Smoking) announced the arrival of a distinctive voice in British storytelling, and with these new stories he more than delivers on his promise: Stuart is putting a real stamp on the genre.'

The stories are a moving and vivid exploration of parental love and parental mistakes. They are unified by their compassion and animated by the unsaid, and by how powerfully they extract the luminous from the ordinary.

You can catch Stuart at Best British Short Stories, Waterstones Piccadilly on 20 June 2014, and at the London Short Story Festival, also at Waterstones Piccadilly, on 22 June 2014.

We will publish Your Father Sends His Love in May 2015.
