Gunning it with Gunther: A playlist for the road

No American road trip could be complete without a beaten-up car stereo, a glove box full of tapes, and a thousand miles of tarmac to get through them all (or, failing that, an auxiliary cable and an iPod on shuffle). To celebrate Kirsten Reed's success in being shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writer's prize, we've compiled a playlist of Gunther's road music from her phenomenal debut The Ice Age.
