Love poems for World Book Night

20 April 2016

We're delighted that Carol Ann Duffy's Love Poems is amongst this year’s World Book Night books.

Whether writing of longing or seduction, of passion, adultery, or simple, everyday acts of love, Carol Ann Duffy is always imaginative, heartfelt and direct.

Love Poems contains some of the Poet Laureate’s most popular poems and displays all the eloquence and skill that have made her one of our most loved contemporary poets.

World Book Night is an annual celebration of reading and books which takes place on 23 April. It sees passionate volunteers across the country give out hundreds of thousands of books in their communities.

World Book Night is run by The Reading Agency, a national charity that inspires people to become confident and enthusiastic readers to help give them an equal chance in life. Find out more about World Book Night here
