In 1999 we published Peter F. Hamilton's first collection of short stories, A Second Chance at Eden. Fourteen years later we decided that the cover was due an update. As you can see below, we've redesigned the cover to tone down the green and make it more in line with Peter's current cover look:
For those of you not as aware of Peter's first short story collection (he's written a second called Manhattan in Reverse!), it encompasses a novella and six short stories, set in the same universe as his Nights Dawn trilogy. Among others, this collection includes a story about a new blood-sport featuring artificial monsters and story set in a far future world where one man wages an obsessive vengeance against the last survivor of an alien race. The title novella centers on the mysterious death of the habitat Eden’s creator, and shows us that this is a must-have collection from a writer at the top of his game.
