COVER ART LAUNCH: THE THING ABOUT WOLVES BY LEIGH EVANS
I've a top treat to share today in the form of this stunning cover for Leigh Evans' The Thing about Wolves, due out in August. In January this year, Leigh wow-ed reviewers (see quotes below) with her debut urban fantasy The Trouble with Fate, and this is the exciting sequel to Hedi's story! It's always amazing when authors love their covers as much as you do, and Leigh said:
'It's absolutely stunning. The crimson riffs off the themes of blood bonds, the border gives a nod to the forest and Merry . . . so very striking. If it wasn't 10:26 in the morning, I'd be on my knees, trying to find that bottle of champagne we tucked in the back of the fridge. I'll have to do with lifting my mug, and saying, "Hooray, James, Bob and the Pan Macmillan design department. You did it again."'
The cover for book one was created by Pan Macmillan's Head of Design James Annal and The Thing about Wolves was developed by the talented Bob Eames. A great joint effort I think you'll agree! See below for The Thing about Wolves cover blurb and those stunning praise for book one -- reasons why you should go grab it asap!
BLURB FOR THE THING ABOUT WOLVES
Does the nightmare end when your wishes come true?
Becoming a werewolf pack's Alpha-by-proxy might be someone's dream, but it wasn't on Hedi's list of life goals. And it's just not working out. Small hints being Creemore's wolves wanting her blood, or North America's Council of Weres wanting her dead. Then Hedi's deepest wishes are granted. Robson Trowbridge returns from Merenwyn -- and her true love isn't alone. He's found her long-missing twin brother, Lexi. With this double helping of wonderful, things should have been all sunshine and flowers, but the fae realm has changed both men. If Hedi can't save her brother from his addiction, it'll kill him. And her relationship with Robson may not survive the forces pushing them apart. To combat the darkness ahead, Hedi must face her dangerous were/fae heritage, and travel into the Fae Kingdom's darkest heart.
