hitchhikers-bk1-cover_1Here's some Saturday morning listening for you! The original cast of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio show, will be reunited for a special performance tomorrow morning on BBC Radio 4, at 10:15am. The show will be recorded live from London's Broadcasting House Radio Theatre, as part of a 'Character Invasion' day that also includes Dawn French delivering Thought For The Day as the Vicar of Dibley and bestselling authors Hilary Mantel and Helen Fielding discussing fictional characters.

As the publishers of Douglas Adams, this is something we are particularly excited about. The reunion performance will be led by Simon Jones as Arthur Dent, and the cast will be bringing to life the characters created for them by Douglas Adams in highlights from the entire Hitchhiker's series. On stage, they will be joined by Douglas's long-time collaborator, John Lloyd, and the performance will feature Mark Wing-Davey returning as Zaphod and Stephen Moore as Marvin.

If you miss the performance tomorrow, you can hear some brilliant audio clips from the radio show on our Pan Macmillan soundcloud here, along with audio extracts from some of our other books.
