We had a great time at the 26th Arthur C. Clarke Award last night. Despite not celebrating a fourth win for China Miéville's nominated EMBASSYTOWN (there's always next year eh China!), we were very happy for Jane Rogers for winning with her near-future dystopian novel, THE TESTAMENT OF JESSIE LAMB. We enjoyed catching up with some of our favourite people, drinking out of test tubes & watching our fashion correspondent, Paul Cornell, catalogue the evening's triumphs (thanks Paul).
Here is Sci-Fi-London's video of the great Jeff Noon presenting Jane with her award:
Check out some of our pictures of the evening:
Tor's Louise Buckley & Isolde Roche
SFX's Nick Setchfield, looking as smooth as ever
The very lovely Jared & Anne from Pornokitsch
Tom Pollock & Orbit's James Long
Dave Bradley from SFX and Tony Lee
