This weekend sees the great and the good of the SFF community descend on the unassuming, possibly ill-prepared North Welsh town of Prestatyn. Pontins will be transformed for the SFX Weekender into a haven for all those interested in the very best of genre literature, film, TV and comics.

Tor has been a supporter of the SFX Weekender since its conception three years ago so we’re turning out en masse to join panel events and the signing schedule, as well as cheering on China Miéville and Douglas Hulick who have both been nominated for The Kitschies, with the winners announced on Friday night. When not speaking and signing, Tor will be (hopefully) winning the Blastermind pub quiz, dancing to Craig Charles’s DJ set, singing along to Buffy: Once More With Feeling and chatting in the bar.
