Problem with Promises - see full cover belowI'm delighted to unveil the stunning cover for The Problem with Promises below -- an urban fantasy treat-fest. This is the third book in the Mystwalker series by super talented author Leigh Evans. And, given the praise she's received for the first two books, I'm hoping this will also be a winner when it's released in February. Patricia Briggs has said, 'Reader beware, if you pick up a Leigh Evans book, you won't put it down until the last page’, and you can see further praise for the Mystwalker books below plus info on the plot.

The cover for The Trouble with Fate (Book One) was created by Pan Macmillan’s Head of Design James Annal. And Bob Eames developed The Problem with Promises in the same style to produce a great visual. Leigh has been really enthusiastic about the cover too, saying ‘It's absolutely bewitching! I'm loving Hedi's expression -- so full of promise and determination, which is perfect in tone for the book. Your art department is amazingly talented and I can't wait to get my paws on my copies.’

THE PLOT

Never make a promise you can’t afford to keep...
Half-fae Hedi has tried to live by this rule, yet however fast she runs, trouble tracks her down. So this time, she's meeting it head on. In the fae realm, a mage has imprisoned her twin brother Lexi, and she swore to set him free. However, witches, conspiracies and bikers with murder in mind all block her path, and the bad guys after her really mean business. You know that ‘last straw’ metaphor? That was two straws ago. Hedi must harness her talents to save those she loves. But once she claims her full powers, there will be no going back...
