WANNA PLAY? - OUR FRIDAY HORROR GIVEAWAY
**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNERS HAVE BEEN CONTACTED**
If you can look at the above images without immediately creeping out and searching for a claw hammer to wield in self-defense, you're a stronger soul than any of us at Team Tor. As Halloween draws ever closer (yes, we're thinking about it already...) it's pretty clear that one trope is making a comeback in 2013: killer dolls.
The Conjuring, this summer's biggest horror movie, and Curse of Chucky, this autumn's big horror DVD release, both feature insane plastic midgets with murder on their minds, and it just so happens one of the UK's biggest horror writers Adam Nevill is also releasing a book featuring demented dollies (and taxidermy and a big, creepy old house in the woods - take our word for it, it's terrifying). House of Small Shadows will hit UK shelves in October, but if you fancy a chance at getting your hands on early copies read on...
All you have to do to be in with a chance is tell us in the comments below:
What was the name of the Anthony Hopkins-starring 1978 thriller about a creepy ventriloquist dummy?
Two lucky winners will each receive a copy of the early proof of House of Small Shadows PLUS a copy of F.R. Tallis's psychological thriller The Sleep Room in paperback, currently messing up the sleep patterns of lots of readers.
