Tidy Cleans Up

Emily Gravett’s Tidy hit the shelves at the start of spring and has been getting some brilliant responses: tweets, blogs, vlogs and a few stunningly artistic window displays.
Emily kicked off proceedings with a spick and span array of hand-painted, glove-hatted animals at Waterstones in Brighton:

The lovely Booka Bookshop in Oswestry, near Shrewsbury, have created a very sunny looking window with impressive foliage to celebrate their Tidy story time and craft session on the 1st June:

Far From the Madding Crowd bookshop win points not only for their excellent name but for their highly innovative use of coloured doilies for this window in Linlithgow:

And it’s not a window display but gets a special mention for taking over what looks like half the shop and creating the most cosily Gravett-themed reading corner we have ever seen – at Page One over in Hong Kong:

You can find more gorgeous pictures and lovely reviews here from Claire Witt, A Mum Reviews, Monkey and Mouse, Mother in LondonHannah and the Mini Beasts, What Luke Did Next and Guardian Witness.
And if all that has left you feeling inspired, why not help your child create a display of their own by learning how to paint leaves and blossom with Emily Gravett herself:
