Two Years of Two Hoots
Two Hoots recently celebrated two years of publishing. Two years! I can hardly believe it. To celebrate and showcase our current and future titles, we created this special brochure, which you can view here:
Two Hoots Brochure
Thanks to our amazing authors and illustrators, our books have been recognised both internationally and here in the UK, where they won several major awards: the Independent Book Week Award, the AOI Award for Best Newcomer and the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal.
In 2018, we will be presenting more amazing new talents alongside established stars, some new to Two Hoots. In 2017, as well as our stunning picture books, we introduced two books of poetry, and this year we are stretching our wings still wider to include a glorious alphabet book with a difference, written by the country’s best-loved children’s author, Julia Donaldson, and illustrated by the creative genius Sharon King-Chai.
We're also very excited about our first non-fiction offering: a sumptuous 128-page book all about the women's suffrage movement, written by David Roberts with a foreword by Lauren Laverne. Two Hoots is a place to try new things: there are no rules, only the ambition to excel.
Looking through this brochure makes me very proud of what Two Hoots has achieved so far, and eager for what is to come. I hope you will enjoy these highlights from our list.
