Adam Kay - The Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor Adam Kay was a junior doctor but, after a brief medical career, he swapped his stethoscope for a microphone. Now an award- winning comedian, he revisits the world of 97-hour weeks and being paid less than the hospital parking meter in his new book This is Going to Hurt, based on a collection of thoughts scribbled in secret after endless days, sleepless nights and missed weekends. Hilarious, horrifying and heart-breaking, this is everything you wanted to know and more about life on and off the hospital ward.
