Join us for an evening with writer and broadcaster Natalie Haynes in conversation with Simon Savidge. They'll be discussing Natalie's latest novel, The Children of Jocasta, a reimagining of the Oedipus and Antigone stories from the perspective of the two women who are often overlooked, a retelling of the myth which reveals a new side to an ancient story. As well as being the author of The Amber Fury, which was shortlisted for the Scottish Crime Book of the Year Award, Natalie is the author of The Ancient Guide to Modern Life, the writer and presenter of the BBC Radio 4 show, Natalie Haynes Stands Up for the Classics, and in 2015 was awarded the Classical Assocation Prize for her work in bringing Classics to a wider audience.
