Join illustrator Brooke Barker and TV presenter Lucy Cooke for the launch of Sad Animal Facts. Sad Animal Facts is an instagram sensation and now a delightfully quirky compendium of the Animal Kingdom's more unfortunate truths, with over 150 hand-drawn illustrations to make you laugh and cry. Lucy Cooke is the award-winning presenter of BBC1's Talk to the Animals and Nature's Boldest Thieves. Together they celebrate the weird and wonderful world of animals and reveal facts you never knew such as apes tell lies and mice can sense sadness, kiwis remember bad memories and sea turtles never meet their mums. Brooke will illustrate the talk live and take requests for drawings from the audience which you can take home. The event is free and unticketed and comes with a complimentary glass of wine. All you need to do is RSVP to [email protected]
