Burial Rites by Hannah Kent is one of our favourite books and her event with us is still one of our all time favourites. Her new novel The Good People, which she mentioned to us last time she was here, will be published next month and we cant tell you how excited we are that shes coming back to Corbridge, and that the book is every bit as good as her first! "
"Based on true events and set in a lost world bound by its own laws, The Good People is a novel about absolute belief and devoted love. Terrifying, thrilling and moving in equal measure, this long-awaited follow-up to Burial Rites shows an author at the height of her powers. "
"We hope you can join us on Thursday 16th February, from 7pm, at Tea & Tipple. Tickets are the usual £5 including a glass of wine or something soft.
