In store event open to all customers. Multi-talented Joanna Nadin has had many guises: she has been a broadcast journalist, an adviser to the prime-minister, an award-winning writer for children and young adults. Now she has turned her pen to literary fiction and written her first dynamic adult novel. ‘The Queen of Bloody Everything’ is a moving tale of the ever-evolving relationship between an eccentric, exuberant mother and her desperate-to-fit-in daughter. When Edie and six-year-old Dido move from London to a small suburb of Essex they find themselves living next door to the perfect-seeming Trevalyns. There, Dido falls in love with this ‘normal’ family, who are everything that her mother will never be… Join us and Joanna to raise a glass and celebrate the publication of ‘The Queen of Bloody Everything’.
