Pan Macmillan is looking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic, and commercially minded person who is ready to take the next step in their career by joining a leading rights team and developing their skills and experience as a Rights Executive, selling translation, serialization, and domestic rights across the Pan Macmillan adult lists.    

 

The Adult Rights department sells subsidiary rights for the fiction and non-fiction imprints of Macmillan, Pan, Picador, Bluebird, Mantle, and Tor.

 

The key tasks of the role will include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • The sale of translation rights, directly in Poland and Portugal, and through co-agents in 

Eastern Europe and other key territories throughout the world

  • The sale of Serialisation rights in a wide range of titles across the non-fiction lists

  • The sale of Large Print and domestic rights

  • Maintaining and building excellent customer relationships

 

We are looking for someone who will thrive in a very busy rights department and be able to work effectively within a team. They should be extremely well-organised, have excellent sales, administrative and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
