The International Sales Team (Exclusive Markets) works with affiliates in North America, Australia, N.Z, South Africa and India. We represent an exciting range of successful authors including Julia Donaldson, Ken Follett, Elton John and Danielle Steel. We are currently looking for an International Sales Administrator for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

 

The candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative support and will ideally have experience in sales administration with a passion for reading. 

 

The key tasks of this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Support team with trip preparation, which includes running various reports, securing samples, assembling PowerPoint presentations and other requirements in advance of meetings and travel

  • Work regularly with our internal publishing systems, including Biblio, Midas, International Bookscan and Vista to prepare sales figures and reports

  • Share title information, generate backorder reports, and provide monthly publishing schedules to sister companies 

  • Take a proactive approach to managing team workload and deadlines

  • Deal with multiple, daily ad hoc queries and orders directly from various contacts in our respective territories

  • Liaise with Customer Service/MDL and various other departments across the business

  • Support a team of 3 people, providing general administrative support 

  • Develop a fruitful relationship with various key contacts abroad

 

The ideal candidate will:

 

  • Have strong administrative/organizational skills

  • Possess first class communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Have excellent computer skills with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, familiarity with Gmail

  • Be able to juggle a variety of tasks and prioritize their workload under pressure

  • Love books!

This role for is for a fixed term of 12 months.

 

This role is based in our office in Farringdon.
