Technical Support Analyst, Fixed Term Contract




MPIL London are looking for a Technical Support Analyst for a 3 month Fixed Term Contract  to start  in January 2020.


The position of Technical Support Analyst is to provide the Macmillan user community with a high-level of support. Secondarily the position is to provide Tier 1 & 2 Mac & PC support. The position requires a high level of knowledge and experience of working with Windows & Macintosh applications, ideally in a publishing or design environment


This role will:

  • Provide high-level application support and troubleshooting for Windows & Macintosh users.
  • Provide high-level hardware support and troubleshooting for Windows & Macintosh users.
  • Interacting with Macmillan Publishers employees companywide; building customer relations, providing hands-on assistance and proactive support.
  • Provide high-level desktop application support and troubleshooting for Macintosh users; specific focus on the Adobe CS Suite, Microsoft Office and Macmillan Digital Workflow.
  • Part of a global team that’s responsible for the intake of all incoming support calls and e-mails.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar IT Support Role.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Skills/knowledge:
  • Experience with Mac OS X and Windows 10 Support
  • Basic Active Directory knowledge
  • Ability to support Macmillan owned applications and systems
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar IT Support role.

This role is for a fixed term of 3 months and will be based in our stunning new offices in Farringdon.
