Our Communications department is looking for a Prizes Co-ordinator to join the team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be experienced, self-motivated and highly-organised with excellent communication skills.
The position will involve working closely with the Editorial team and the Communications team, to ensure the effective co-ordination, administration and communication of book prize entries across the publishing divisions.
This role includes:
- Being the first point of contact for editorial and prize bodies.
- Alerting editorial about upcoming prizes and their requirements.
- Checking entries adhere to the prize stipulations.
- Maintain a record of all prizes, upcoming and sent.
- Liaise with Editorial and Communications to alert them to shortlisting and winners.
- Manage the prize budget day to day.
We are looking for a confident candidate with some experience within publishing industry. An awareness of the different book prizes is desirable, but not essential.
This role is part-time (7 - 14 hours per week) and is based in our London office. The contract will be for a fixed term of 12 months.
