Ben Collins and Virgin Experience Days
We teamed up with Virgin Experience Days and Ben Collins to run an on pack promotion offering a discounted skid driving experience to everyone who purchasedHow To Drive: The Ultimate Guide from the Man who was The Stig. Virgin Experience Days also ran a bespoke Christmas experience for their customers, which featured a hardback copy of the book as part of a Supercar Thrill plus High Speed Ride experience.
The promotion enabled Virgin Experience Days to reach a new retail space and enhance the value of an existing customer offering.
Lucy Diamond & Giraffe
We partnered with bestselling author Lucy Diamond and Giraffe to run an on pack promotion around the publication of Summer at Shell Cottage. Lucy Diamond fans were offered a free limited edition summer cocktail, with recipe in the back of the book to recreate it at home. The cocktail voucher was redeemable in Giraffe establishments nationwide.
We also filmed Lucy Diamond undertaking a cocktail making class with a Giraffe mixologist which was used as exclusive content for Giraffe’s newsletter and YouTube channel, as well as in Lucy Diamond’s own newsletter. This promotion gave Giraffe access to a brand new audience, as well as driving potential customers in to restaurants nationwide.
Kate Morton and Royal Horticultural Society
We worked with the Royal Horticultural Society to offer Kate Morton readers the chance to win a year’s membership to the RHS when they purchased The Lake House in Waitrose. We also provided them with exclusive video content featuring Kate, which was promoted via their YouTube channel. Not only did this partnership open up a new retail space for RHS, it also meant that their offering was promoted via Kate Morton’s own social channels.
The RHS were also able to offer their members additional benefits, such as competition copies for their followers, including gift editions of Kate’s backlist, which were designed by Sophie Allport.
Emma Farrarons and STABILO
STABILO were looking to leverage their brand within WHS. We devised a mini book of our bestselling Mindfulness Colouring by Emma Farrarons which STABILO packaged in an exclusive colouring pen set.
Guardian and Florence Foster Jenkins
To coincide with the film release of Florence Foster Jenkins starring Meryl Streep we collaborated with Pathe and the Guardian newspaper. Our bespoke edition of the biography of Florence was poly-bagged to The Guardian in nationwide Sainsbury’s stores. The give-away was pre-promoted in the paper and online using the joint film and book artwork.
