1. To enter this competition you must be: (a) residents of the UK and Eire; and (b) aged over 18 Years on 1st March 2013.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Only one entry per person.
4. The instructions for entry contained in the adverts publicizing this competition form part of the competition rules.
5. Sending a postal entry or an email is no proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent for any reason.
6. Any personal information (entrant’s name, date of birth, email address and address) will be used solely in connection with this competition and will not be disclosed to any third party, except for the purpose of fulfilling the prize where applicable. Any personal information held by the Promoter in respect of the competition will be held on record for a short period for the purpose of ensuring fulfilment of the competition.
7. The winner will be the entrant whose entry is selected by the judges.
8. The closing date for the competition is 1st March 2013, and the winner will be decided on 4th March 2013.
9. If you win the competition, we will notify you by post or by email on 8th March.
10. The judges' decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. Prizes should be received within twenty one (21) days of the closing date.
12. In the event that the Promoter cannot for any reason contact the winner by 22nd March 2013 the promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.
13. You can find out who won by sending a stamped addressed envelope to DEAR ZOO MEMORY COMPETITION, Marketing Department, Macmillan Children’s Books, 20 New Wharf Road, London N1 9RR after 22nd March 2013.
14. The panel of judges will be comprised of the Managing Director of Macmillan Children's Books and the Editorial Director of Macmillan Children's Books.
15. One (1) winner will an iPad 3 with Dear Zoo app preloaded on to it.
16. No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize, although if the advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The prize is subject to the additional terms and conditions of the manufacturer and/or supplier.
17. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
18. By entering the competition, the winners of any prize agree to participate in such promotional activities and feature in such promotional material as Macmillan may require.
19. If you win the competition you may be asked to provide proof of your date of birth.
20. This competition is being run by Pan Macmillan Ltd of Brunel Road, Houndmills, Basingstoke, Hampshire ("Macmillan") the Promoter.
21. These competition Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising there from.
22. Macmillan reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If we do, we will put the amended rules up at www.panmacmillan.com.
