Synopsis
THE NEW APPLE TV+ SERIES
‘Murder, a love triangle, and small-town secrets . . . an unputdownable read' – The New York Times
On a quiet morning in December 2000, Mike Williams set off from his home in Tallahassee, Florida for a solo outing. He never returned. His wife, Denise, and their closest friends Brian and Kathy Winchester, seemed distraught. Their tight-knit Baptist community had been shaken; things would never be the same again.
The grieving locals assumed that Mike drowned in a tragic accident, his remains eaten by alligators. Until, five years on, the illusion of a devoted wife and bereft friends shattered when Brian divorced Kathy and married Denise. As their families fractured, rumours spread through the town of potential foul play, and buried secrets began to surface. It took another twelve years for the truth to come out – and when it did, it was unimaginable.
Guilty Creatures, by acclaimed author and psychoanalyst Mikita Brottman, is an enthralling true story of love, betrayal and murder.
