  Harriet Sanders

  I publish classic books from around the world spanning fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, poetry, drama and anthologies. Macmillan Collector's Library books are beautifully produced, pocket size, hardcover editions. Whilst most are out of copyright, I publish a small and growing list of in copyright authors such as Ernest Hemingway, Graham Greene, Margery Allingham and Rumer Godden. I commission new introductions from a wide range of writers, journalists and academics.

  I joined the Macmillan Collector’s Library team in 2023. I work with Harriet and Laurie on the day-to-day running of our imprint and help with research. I'm inspired by classic works from all over the world and I love bringing different sources and languages to bear on our publishing.

   I joined the team in 2025 and work on Macmillan Collector's Library with Harriet Sanders and Elena Richards. I also assist the Picador team and work on the Picador Collection. I find it really exciting to be able to think about classic literature and contemporary literature simultaneously here at Pan Macmillan.
