Saira Nabi appointed editor at Pan Non Fiction
Pan Non Fiction has appointed Saira Nabi to the role of editor. She joins the Pan Macmillan imprint from Bonnier Books UK, where she served as Assistant Editor across the Blink and LEAP imprints.

Nabi brings a track record spanning key commercial non-fiction genres, including sport, entertainment, music, true crime, politics, and personal development.
Having joined Bonnier as an editorial intern in September 2023, she quickly progressed through the business, working across Blink, John Blake, and Lagom. Her experience includes working on Sunday Times bestsellers such as Jimmy Anderson’s Finding the Edge and Freddie Flintoff’s Coming Home, alongside Anton Du Beke’s memoir, Steps in Time. Demonstrating a sharp commissioning eye, Nabi also recently acquired and published Out Now, the debut book from TV critic and radio presenter Scott Bryan.
At Pan Non-Fiction, Nabi will acquire and publish standout commercial entertainment titles, working alongside Commissioning Editor, Lydia Ramah (Gift and Humour and Autobiography), and Publishing Director, Ingrid Connell (Autobiography, History and Royalty).
Nabi becomes part of the wider Non-Fiction team, which published no. 1 Sunday Times bestseller by Sarah Wynn-Williams, currently riding high in the paperback charts, and will publish highly anticipated titles from British icons Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Paul Smith this autumn.
Nabi said: 'I have loved my three years at Bonnier and feel so proud to have worked with such a wonderful team and such brilliant authors during my time there. I’m so excited to be joining Sara and the team at Pan Non-Fiction; this has been an incredible year of publishing for Pan Macmillan and I can’t wait to be a part of it.’
Cywinski said: 'Saira impressed us with her broad non-fiction experience, sharp editorial skills and strong commercial instinct. She brings fantastic energy and insight across a wide range of genres, and she will be a huge asset to our team as we continue to grow our non-fiction list. We can't wait to welcome her to the team.'
Nabi will take up the role on 28th September and report to Sara Cywinski, Publisher for Pan Non Fiction.
