Night Night Baby Jesus (Night, Night books)

Young children will love Night Night Baby Jesus from Priddy Books, a calming bedtime board book set on the night Jesus was born.

The story opens in Bethlehem after Jesus has been born in the stable. As toddlers turn each shaped page, they can watch different people and animals in each scene go to bed, from the innkeeper in his home, the shepherds in the field to the donkey in the barn as well as baby Jesus himself.

In Bethlehem, a special boy was born one starry night.
Everyone who saw the baby was filled with pure delight.

As Mary and Joseph settle in the stable to stay.
it’s time for the others to go on their way.

The gentle rhyming text tells the story of the night of Jesus' birth as the animals and people make their way home after the joyous event. Julia Seal's gorgeous artwork pairs beautifully with the theme and will help to soothe toddlers to sleep after a busy day of play. The last spread has a night sky full of glow in the dark stars, as well as the star of Bethlehem, making this a lovely gift for a baby shower or first birthday.
