Synopsis
Look! This is the perfect picture book for children who need glasses for the first time, from rising star Leya Luna. Sweet, sensitive and utterly relatable, this is a universal story of adjusting to change and learning to love yourself exactly as you are.
Luca is 6 years old and likes colouring, climbing trees and reading books. But when things that used to feel easy start to seem hard – and the world around her becomes a little blurry – a trip to the eye doctor is the answer. Luca needs glasses!
From trying on endless pairs to choosing the perfect frames, Luca discovers that seeing clearly can help her feel like herself again. And when her friends love her new look just as much as she does, Luca learns something even more important; the right glasses don’t change who you are – they help you shine.
