Fire & Heist

Every heist needs a crew. Every crew needs a dragon.

In Aspen’s cutthroat underworld of billionaire wyverns, status is measured in gold — and student Sky Hawkins has just lost hers.

After her mother mysteriously vanished during a botched robbery, Sky’s aristocratic family was cast out of high society, stripped of their hoard, and left in disgrace. But when Sky discovers her mother didn't abandon them — she was betrayed while breaking into the vault of the Wyvern Council's ruthless leader —Sky resolves to take back what's hers.

Sky recruits a specialized crew: her ex-boyfriend as the inside man, her human college roommate to bypass wyvern-detection wards, and an eccentric wyvern wizard. Their target? The most heavily fortified vault in Colorado.

But while planning the heist, Sky uncovers a secret far more dangerous than gold. To pull off the crime of the century and save her family, Sky must outsmart a ruthless empire - and master the lost art of full dragon transformation . . .
