Synopsis
When the body of British journalist Joshua Davies washes ashore on Anjuna beach, the Goa police swiftly rule it an accidental drowning. But his sister, Mia, refuses to accept their version of events. In search of justice, she travels to Goa and enlists the help of Neville and Shehnaz Wadia, who soon begin to unravel a sinister web lurking beneath the seaside paradise.
Their investigation reveals a nexus of corrupt cops, ambitious politicians and a mysterious cult, all of whom have reasons to want Joshua dead. The faster Neville races to untangle the case, the more elusive the answers become – and the closer they come to peril. Tied to past violent events, Joshua’s death sets off a chain reaction, putting everyone who seeks justice in harm’s way and driving the truth ever farther from their grasp.
