Emily Gravett has a rare talent indeed for creating exceptional books for children. The winner of two Kate Greenaway Awards, her skill and wit are second to none as she pushes the boundaries and wrings maximum fun and detail from every page. Emily first sprang into the limelight with the ground-breaking Wolves in 2005, which has been followed by such brilliant modern classics as Meerkat Mail, Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears, Monkey and Me, Again! and the fabulous Bear and Hare series for younger readers, as well as the beautiful Tidy. Each book is unique and different from the last - and each features endearing, beautifully drawn characters that touch the heart and tickle the funny bone. Emily lives in Brighton with her family.
Two Hoots is to be the name of Suzanne Carnell’s recently announced illustrated imprint. The logo has been specially illustrated for her by award-winning illustrator Emily Gravett. The list will publish around 12 books annually.

I'm proud to say it's publication day of this very beautiful little cloth bound gift edition of Dogs. I wrote this book back in 2007 and it was inspired by my search for the perfect rescue dog to share my home with. By the time I'd finished the book we lived with the wonderful saluki 'Otto'. You can find him doing what he did best on the fast dog page. Otto died on Saturday and our house is not the same. Here's my little tribute to him. Xx #twohoots #dogs #saluki #dalilydoodle #dogdoodle
