Synopsis

When Mum and Dad go away for the night, Aunt Amelia comes to look after one very cross little girl and boy. They do NOT want to be looked after and, even worse, Mum has left a list of boring instructions. But Aunt Amelia turns out to be rather different from expected . . . and a LOT more fun!

Aunt Amelia is a charmingly funny, warm and beautiful story from Rebecca Cobb, the hugely talented creator of Lunchtime.

Gorgeous illustrations accompany sweet, funny, friendly text - every child (and adult!) will wish for an aunt like Amelia!

One of my favourite books of the year from rising star Cobb who missed out on this year's Greenaway but will win it one day. Exquisite illustrations, charming and funny. I love her child's eye view.
Snuggle up and read them a beautiful illustrated story
The final image of the children fighting back giggles as they ask for another list next time she visits is a great end to a flawless book. It is one more charming release by Rebecca Cobb, who is something like Aunt Amelia herself with her ability to bring us a bout of joy before disappearing to create the next masterpiece.
