Jean Menzies

Jean Menzies holds a PhD in ancient history and is a prize-winning author and anthologist. She has published several books for children including Greek Myths and Egyptian Myths, as well as Live Like a Goddess for teens. She’s a contributor to the Inklings series and her anthologies include two volumes of Greek Myths for Macmillan Collector’s Library. Jean’s debut adult novel, The Lady of the Lake, was published in 2025, and Aphrodisia: Women, Sex and Pleasure in the Classical World, a work of non-fiction, will be published in 2026. Jean also hosts a long-running YouTube channel, Jean’s Thoughts.
